DAY 1 :
Arrive in Nairobi and Destination Kenya representative will meet and escort you to Fairmont the Norfolk hotel. Depending on the time of arrival our luxury vehicle and Guide will be available for sightseeing in and around Nairobi. Dinner and Overnight at Fairmont the Norfolk hotel.
DAY 2 :
After breakfast, you leave Nairobi behind and drive north, to the Aberdares National Park. Lunch at the Outspan hotel, before proceeding to the famous tree hotel–Treetops. Here, wildlife can be observed as the animals approach the salt lick below you. Dinner and Overnight at the Treetops hotel
DAY 3 & 4:
After breakfast, rejoin your drivers at the Outspan Hotel and drive further north past Mount Kenya to Samburu Game Reserve, and arrive at Larsen’s Tented Camp. Your large tents are well appointed with a deck overlooking the Uaso Nyiro river. You spend two days of game viewing in Samburu home to the rare reticulated giraffe, the long necked gerenuk, the Grevy’s zebra and the beisa oryx among other wildlife. DAY 5:
After breakfast, drive south to Nanyuki, arriving in time for lunch at the incomparable Mount Kenya Safari Club, your luxury country club resort on the equator facing the snow capped summit of Mount Kenya, Africa’s second-highest mountain. The Club offers a selection of activities including golf, tennis, horse riding, trout fishing, and visits to the animal orphanage or just relax in your luxurious surroundings and enjoy the wonderful cuisine and outstanding service. DAY 6:
In the morning after breakfast or in the afternoon, get a chance to visit the pristine calm of the private OlPejeta Conservancy for game drives. This 110,000-acre private wilderness of the OlPejeta Conservancy boasts an astounding variety of wildlife, including all the members of the ‘Big Five’ (the endangered black and white rhino , leopard, elephant, buffalo and lion). It also offers sanctuary to a number of endangered species, most notably the rare Grevy’s zebra and the Jackson’s hartebeest. The largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa, and the only sanctuary for chimpanzees in Kenya are found in this conservancy. Meals and overnight at Mount Kenya Safari Club.
DAY 7, 8 & 9:
Breakfast and transfer to Nanyuki airstrip and fly over the Great Rift Valley to the famous Masai Mara National Reserve. Your camp safari vehicle and guide will meet you on arrival and drive you to Mara Safari Club, your home for the next three days. Game viewing in the Masai Mara is unequalled anywhere in the world and during the seasonal migrations, the Mara is home to up to half a million wildebeest and an equally impressive number of zebra who move into the area from neighboring Tanzania. These large numbers of animals give rise to a proportionate number of predators, especially the big cats. The spectacle of nature unfolding is always awesome and you have three exciting days of this to capture on your cameras. Meals and overnights at Mara Safari Club.
DAY 10:
Enjoy your final morning game drive before returning to the club for breakfast and check out. Transfer to the airstrip for scheduled flight back to Nairobi. On arrival, you are met by a Destination Kenya representative and transferred to Fairmont, the Norfolk hotel for your dinner and overnight .
Day 11:
After breakfast, bid farewell to Kenya and get ready for your transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onwards flight.
